Cigar.com - let’s break it down. Let’s start with the web side of the site. For a site with such a great domain they didn’t do all they could with the site. I believe that the site would be much better if they had a bit more graphics such as pictures for each cigar, rather than just for each line. One picture for the overall line of cigars is not quite enough in my opinion because for anyone who is new to the cigar language it is difficult to remember what each cigar in the line is going to look like (how much trouble can it be to post pictures these days?) On the other hand, they do give you plenty of resources on their site to answer most questions.
The other more important side of any cigar site is the cigar and the selection which they have to offer. They have a great selection of cigars - they offer everything from super-premiums such as Gurkha, Padron, Cohiba and Arturo Fuente to their own Cigar.com blends. They have in all over 200 lines of cigars; there’s something for everyone here. There prices aren’t as low as some others that cigarfacts.com has reported on, but they aren’t high, either; they are somewhere in the mid-range. One nice feature they offer is that you can create your own 12-cigar sampler from many of the cigars they offer (not all of the cigars would be nice to make a sampler from any box.) www.cigar.com also offer humidified shipping, a list of their top selling cigars and a claim that satisfaction is guaranteed (whatever that means these days). They also have weekly sales, an “aging room” in which they have many cigars which are hard to come by such as Ashton VSG Round 1999, Greycliff Professionale Vintage 1999 and many more and although they don’t tell you how many they have in stock they do tell you if their products are in stock or on order or whatever. www.Cigar.com is an average site with an above average selection of cigars and accessories. So in my opinion I would give them an overall 4 out of 5, due to low-end graphics and lack of pictures.
